About Us
In mid 2024, Farogan Valley Droughtmasters relocated to Mothar Mountain (outside Gympie). The time had come to find a more manageable block, that had good water and opportunity to irrigate and grow fodder crops.
Mothar Mountain offers gently undulating country with lovely creek flats. There is plenty of water with an irrigation license and spring fed dams.
We look forward to being able to produce good quality bulls for future sales and happy productive heifers. There's plenty of work to do, and are looking to becoming fully operational in 2025.
In the mean time, we have bulls headed to the Droughtmaster National Sale and Diamond Genetics Sale. These are currently being housed and prepared by Traveston Downs Fitting Service.
