It was a tough first day for many at the the Droughtmaster National Bull sale. We count our blessings to have sold four of our six bulls. We are excited that our lead bull (and top priced bull) is headed to stud duties at Twin Hills Droughtmasters. Thank you to all bidders, underbidders, Simon Kinbacher from GDL, CQLX staff, Joe Mooney and the Droughty Society. A huge thank you to Abbey Tennent and Leonie Nichols who really made our sale an enjoyable experience, and their help was invaluable. We were proud to be a part of such an impressive representation of the breed. Many lessons were learnt, and we now look forward to the next sale
National Female Sale 2023
The National Female Sale is done for another year. We would like to thank all bidders and underbidders on our heifers, and hope the 'girls' perform well in their new environments. We also hope the successful bidders enjoy our heifers, as much as we have. A big thank you to the organising committee...without your efforts we would not have the sale that we do.

All three girls sold to studs in SE Qld. We averaged $6300, which is our best result to date. We made a donation of $1900 to the Salvation Army in our area to help with flood relief efforts

Led by FV Overlander, who heads to new paddocks around Maryborough. The other boys head to Biloela and Clermont. We thank our buyers, and wish them all the best with our boys.

National Female Sale: We offered 4 unjoined heifers at this years National Female Sale. All four heifers sold, and headed to Kenilworth, Kandanga and across the border to Grafton. Thank you to all bidders, underbidders, the Sale Committee, Landmark and the Yardsmen.

February All Breeds Our first trip to the February All Breeds Sale saw tough conditions with temperatures rising up into the high 30’s. The boys handled the conditions well, and did us proud over the four days in Rocky. Both bulls sold for an average of $7 750. Thank you to the buyers and under-bidders, agents and auctioneers .

DN Sale 12/13 September
The DN Sale is over for another year. It's a hectic few days, but always good to catch up with people and hopefully sell some bulls. Our bulls sold well and are headed to Rolleston, Richmond, Widgee and the Boyne Valley. The big fella (Chief) didn't sell, but we are more than happy to have him home and doing what bulls do within our herd. Thank you to all that helped to get us to, and through the sale - the bidders and underbidders, Clinton Bull, SBB, Tim @ Riverina and to Les and Leanne @ Leegra Fitting for all their help with Chief. It's time to start focusing on the next lot of potential sale bulls... a short rest first though 😴

We took 3 head up to the Coolabunia Saleyards. The sale ran hot and cold. We managed to sell one bull and we brought the other two home. The good news is, we sold them a couple of weeks later out of the paddock.
