DROUGHTMASTER FUTURITY - TOOGOOLAWAH
Our first show of the season was the Droughtmaster Futurity at Toogoolawah, and there was a strong showing of the breed. It was the first outing for FV Rondel - No placing for him on the day, but he handled his first outing like a pro. FV Razz enters her second year of showing, and finished 4th in her class. Thank you to Dale and Katherine @ Traveston Downs Poll Herefords & Droughtmasters for preparing and showing our pair. Thank you also to the organising committee, sponsors, all exhibitors and judges for an enjoyable Futurity.

BEEF 2024
There's no place like home....
After a very hectic couple of weeks with BEEF commitments, it's nice to be home. Thank you to everyone who made the time away as enjoyable as it was...plenty of laughs along the way.
Our girl FV Razzle Dazzle placed 5th in her class, and she looked terrific. Dale and Katherine @ Traveston Downs Poll Herefords & Droughtmasters have done a great job in her preparation and showing...thank you to you both and your team(Emily and Khan).
Nick had a very busy 2 weeks as part of the BEEF Stud Cattle Committe. He's certainly got a new appreciation for what goes on behind the scenes and all the hard work that is invested into a big event such as BEEF. He even tried his hand at announcing in the Wagyu ring, with judge PJ Budler
Our first foray into Winnebago life was interesting, and I suspect it was a first and last experience.
Now onto the next big adventure.....packing and moving farm/house.

Fraser Coast Show
Razz finished 3rd in her class.

Maleny Show
Razz - 3rd
Ronnie - 4th

Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show
We are finally finding our feet again after moving and ventured to the Sunshine Coast Show this weekend. We were very happy to have both FV Razzle Dazzle and FV Rondel taking out Reserve Senior Champions in the Tropical judging, under the eye of judge Graeme Hopf. A big thank you to Dale McVicar and Katherine Rose Traveston Downs Poll Herefords & Droughtmasters for all that you do in preparing and showing our cattle. They are looking great.
Congratulations to fellow exhibitors Rangeview Droughtmasters and Amavale Shorthorns on brilliant results over the weekend.
Also, to Gympie State High School for your exciting results with your Show Team. It was lovely to see so many excited students.
Thanks to the Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show for their organisation of the show.

EKKA 2024
Brisbane EKKA 2024:
2nd - Cow or heifer 24months and under 30 months - FV Razzle Dazzle
2nd - Bull 22 months and under 24 months - FV Rondel
A big THANK YOU to Dale, Katherine and the team from Traveston Downs Poll Herefords & Droughtmasters for all your hard work and efforts. We couldn't do it without you. The feedback from Judge Matt Welsh was very positive and encouraging.
Congratulations to all exhibitors for their efforts. There's no show without the cattle and the crew who put the time and effort in to get them to the Ekka.
Now the attention turns to bull sales.
